SERVICE TIMES
We’d love for you to join us at one of our worship gatherings this weekend! Right now, we offer three live services on Sundays at 8:15, 9:30 and 11 a.m. We also offer a live, online experience that is available on our watch live page. It’s our prayer that your life will be changed as you come in contact with the good news of Jesus. If we can serve you in any way, please contact us and someone will be in touch with you soon.
Visiting a church for the first time can be a confusing and intimidating experience, but having an idea of what to expect can help. The general atmosphere of our worship gatherings is casual and relaxed. There are three main components to a typical Sunday worship gathering: Kids, Music, and Teaching.
All of the pastors at the church seek to teach the Bible in a compelling and relevant way while being faithful to the meaning and intent of the Biblical text. We often teach through entire books of the Bible and occasionally include interspersed topical teaching series. We seek to be Gospel-Centered in all of our teaching, which means that we focus everything around the Person and work of Jesus. And while you will certainly learn some things about being a better person, having a stronger marriage and managing your finances wisely, those things are not the primary focus of our teaching because all of those things are secondary to what Jesus has done for us. It is only through knowing Jesus that we can be enabled to move forward in meaningful and sustainable ways in all other areas of life.
We are blessed to have talented musicians in our church who bring an eclectic mix of musical styles to our worship gatherings. On most Sundays the general style of music is rock, including newer modern songs as well as new arrangements of old hymns. All of the music will be centered around who God is and what He has done for us and will be in reflection of the doctrine and beliefs of our Church.
At SLKids we offer services for birth-5th grade kids each Sunday. We have an entire building setup for serving your kids through worship, a Bible lesson, fun activities, and small groups. All this happens while parents are participating in the main worship gathering.
We believe that God created us to thrive in life and to enjoy spending time with those around us! Each week students will have the opportunity to engage in games and activities with one another.
